Who is eligible for Invisalign®/Teen? Patients who have shed their all their baby teeth and have second molars partially

erupted-this includes most teens. Length of treatment depends on the severity of your case, however, the average case

takes about 12 months. A series of custom made aligners are produced through a 3-D computer imaging technology that

maps the complete treatment from start to finish. To benefit from Invisalign®/Teen, you MUST be committed to wearing the

aligners for 22 hours per day. All Invisalign/Teen aligners are equipped with compliance indicators to help you and your

doctor approximately keep track of your wear time.

Invisalign® for adults has been a wonderful "clear" alternative in orthodontic care. They are Invisible, Removable and

Comfortable. By using a series of clear aligners (as in Invisalign/Teen®), Invisalign® straightens your teeth gradually. Aligners

are changed usually every two weeks working towards creating your new smile. Being removable, you can remove them

to eat and brush/floss your teeth. Many adults like the comfort of Invisalign®. No need to change your lifestyle and appoint-

ments are usually 6-10 weeks apart. Please ask Dr. Mehan if Invisalign® can work for you or your teen.
