Letter dated February 28, 2009 from Mrs. Martha Reddington...

Dear Dr. Mehan,

This is in response to your letter to us regarding Ashley's orthodontic treatment. As you know, Ashley recently completed the "in braces" phase of her treatment and is now in the "maintenance" phase. we are all quite pleased with Ashley's beautiful smile and feel that your treatment has been a success. I am happy to report that Ashley remains diligent regarding your recommendations to her.

When Ashley and I initially approached your office, I was weary regarding the thought of considering an office that I had only heard about through New Hampshire Magazine. After our initial visit, though, I was convinced that your office was a good choice. One of my main goals during my initial visit was to investigate, what I felt to be, needless tooth removal. We had received a previous recommendation from a popular, local orthodontist who required the removal of four teeth. No other option was available, period. Although we never mentioned this to you during our visit, to my surprise, your focus turned to this issue. I was quite pleased regarding your approach. You discussed consideration of facial growth, a wide healthy looking smile and wit much confidence, offered a proven technical approach. During this time, we learned that there are many different systems, a variety of methods and varying degrees of expertise in this field. In looking back I feel that our extra effort to find a better solution really paid off.

I must say that we greatly respect your professionalism, expertise, and well-developed business practices. We are quite convinced that you are truly a specialist. We also appreciate the principals and choices that you've made that have allowed us to enjoy your warm and wonderful staff.

In response to your question regarding suggestions or improvements, we don't have a single one. we do have one recommendation, though. Please keep turning out those beautiful, wide smiles! We are happy that we found your "jewel of an office.
